Whisky Advocate 91 Points Creamy vanilla on the nose, beautiful fragrance, mellow and sweet with pleasant candy shop aromas. On the palate it’s chewy and thick, viscous and deep. It’s very spicy and definitely needs water, which expands it and brings out cinnamon stick and pepper spice, black licorice straps, and sugared espresso. The finish is deep and long, with pepper spice chugging along into the distance as it goes down. A nice, quality rye.
