Arnaud Lambert is a star of the Saumur region in France’s Loire Valley where he makes expressive Chenin Blancs and Cabernet Francs. "Cremant" is the word here for sparkling wine made in the same method as Champagne. The Lambert Cremant is produced from 75% Chenin Blanc & 25% Chardonnay on the estate’s chalkiest soils and from certified organically farmed vines. It ages for 2 years on the lees, giving it a note of fresh baked bread along with the green apple, peach and lemon flavors.
