Gardies Cherche Le Ciel Rouge

Domaine Gardiés is a family winery covering about 30 hectares in the Roussillon area. Jean Gardiés took over the family domaine in the early nineties and has slowly increased the amount of his production. The vines are situated in the area of Vingrau and Tautavel, the reds on the south and east-facing slopes, the white varietals situated at higher altitudes and facing north. This blend of Mouvedre and Carignan is surprisingly supple with generous fruit and soft tannins. Bramble fruits and savory undertones make this a wildly delicious warm weather red!
